I was feeling sad that day, and so I just spilled out my heart's feeling at the time--pondering, looking out, thinking about the future and what it will bring. Wishing that time would pass and then I could be happy again.

I love the way pencils can create these shades of gray which are very subtle, unlike ink. Blurring out the edges and shadows makes the picture look more real, and very fun to do.
