Description

Pen and ink drawing of Little Audrey, based on a printed cartoon of the Harvey Comics' character. Little Audrey was a popular children's strip during the forties, fifties and sixties; the character also appeared in a number of animated shorts produced by Famous Studios.

hell yes! i have that on video tape...its all warped and such, and i remember the theme song....good lord!

You can get Audrey's cartoons on DVD - the American cuts aren't all that good, but the French translations have been beautifully restored. You can also download a fair-quality torrent of 'The Lost Dream' from this archive site:

Too bad no one really remembers those wonderful old cartoons from the 40s & 50s; they've been mostly overlooked as trivial and unimportant, but for their time, they were every bit as good as anything produced today.
