Time Taken: 3-4 hours
When I showed this watercolor piece at school, I got a lot of comments about it. But the one thing that seemed repetetive was when almost everyone thought Bryan and Lei looked as if they did it last night. AARRGGHH!!! Look closely!! Lei's wearing a white shirt and blue pants (you can't see the pants since my scanner couldn't get the part)! I wasn't aiming for something like that!! I'm not angry but it kinda weirded me out...

This is what I was really thinking when I made this artwork: Lei woke up early that Sunday morning. His room mate's asleep [Bryan] still and he's left thinking about what to do for the mean time. I wasn't even thinking about what happened the other night.

Moving on.

I used warm colors to make it seem like a bright sunny morning. I like sunny mornings. Bryan doesn't and I could care less. Well, I was inspired to do this particular room from a picture I found from a magazine. Then I added on minor objects like the painting in the wall and the lamp. And of course, the two people.

I hope that clears up everything. Enjoy the artwork. And this is not my entry for *miraikazuya's contest. I'm still cooking up an idea for that one.

whoa, wish I could use watercolors like you do. Very well done! As for the 'wrong' impression, well... I kinda got that idea too (sorry @_o) and it struck me as weird since I know I never saw any yaoi action in your art. LOL! Thank god you didn't hook those two together, makes me like this pic even more ^_^
