Ugly Prince

I drew his head first, and it wasn't very pretty. Then I drew some of his body and decided that he was going to be in a fight. Hence, I added a few cuts, arrow piercings and bruises as well as holes in his wings. I could already see him as a red and black dragon, so I decided to color him. ^___^ His blood is the green ooze and there are pale colors on his body representing healing skin that is trying to fix the damaged area. Lastly, a story was born! He was once a prince and then another dragon transformed him into this ugly beast dragon. His own kingdom is killing him, shooting arrows and spears and whatever. I was going to draw a volcano in the back and the sky would be dark, but somehow it turned out this way... Light. I used three different shades of blue to get the sky color. The dates in the top-left corner are the days that I worked on this piece. Enjoy!
