Disgaea: Aku no Tsubasa

It took awhile, but the time paid off because the pic looks a lot better than when I first sketched it out. So what is this then? It's the cover to fan-made graphic novel, Disgaea: Aku no Tsubasa. It's not a doujin, it's a graphic novel as in it's like a regular novel with manga style pics in them, similar to the Disgaea novels I have. After looking at this pic, I still have some mixed feelings. Flonne came out perfectly this time, which makes me very happy. So did Laharl, but the coloring looks somewhat awkward for him, and I did not like how the mouth was shaped. It shouldn't been too curved. Now as for the character at the top left. No people that's not Yami Bakura, it's my own fan made character in the novel, Yuki. Originally, he was supposed to look like Yurka from Evolution (which his character was based off of), but it didn't come out very well, so I started experimenting with hair styles. I tried it the first time and he started to look like Laharl and I definitely didn't want that so I scratched that idea. Then I tried again, making him look a little older, but it ended up making him look like Kuroko or Setsuna (Who're also in the fic. Pics of them are already on the site). So at that point, I looked all over for a hair style copy, and ended up choosing Yami Bakura's. After all, he has to be one of the coolest villians of all time (with a maniacal laugh that rivals Laharl's). A good thing is that if I want to switch between Yuki when he's evil and when he's nice, I can play around with the hair and make it sorta like how Ryou and Bakura switch.<br />

So how is this gonna work? Well, I'm already posting the fic here on fanart central, but I think it'll be easier for all of you to go check fanfiction.net for the fic. The pics I'm going to draw are just several important scenes from each episode. Unfortunately for my fanart central peeps, those pics will only be shown on deviantart, so you'll have to go check there for pics from the fic.<br />

As for a quick summary of the story, I don't want to spoil it but I'll simply tell you that it takes place two years after the events of the game (The good ending of the game). Hopefully you'll get to see more from me soon. Don't worry fanart central peeps. I got something for you guys too ^-^x
