i used mechanical pencil on this one actually but "stubs" will give you a similar effect with even softer edges. Stubs are pieces of paper rolled into a point (for anyone who doesn't know) you can get them at any art supply store. They're really easy to use i love them. I actually used the stubs on the more recent art i just put up like the wolf's rain pic, PyRo-FreaK's request and bishyboylover's request.
