Description

Sonic the Hedgehog is a character and protagonist of the series of electronic games "Sonic the Hedgehog" launched by Sega, as well as comic strips and animated shows!
Sonic is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog representative of Sega in Brazil, a thorn hog, capable of running at supersonic speed and curl up like a ball to attack enemies. He is one of the fictitious characters faster of the world, and whose main objective is to save the other animals of the villain Dr. Eggman!
Sonic was created to replace Alex Kidd as Sega's new mascot!

I have played only the fan-made games featuring him a lot later than the golden age of Sonic games, those ones are fun to play as well :)
When I was a kid, I thought that they created the cartoon series first and the games were based on them :D
