Yes! Kenshin is the protagonist of the series! A legendary former assassin known as "Hitokiri Battōsai" who becomes a ronin wielding a wielding a "sakabatō" (inverted blade sword), a katana that has the edge in the inner curve of the sword, and thus almost unable to kill . Kenshin travels through Japan offering to help and protect those in need.
