Description
This is Jesper Strömblad from the band In Flames. One of my favourite guitarists and one of my favourite bands. I copied the picture out of a Metal Hammer magazine, which is about a year old now.
I am extremely proud of this drawing, and I love the whole purple lighting of it. I had a lot of fun drawing his tattoos, but they were also really difficult. But I think that it all payed off. I also think that the border is quite kool.
Drawn on A4 paper in pencil. Inked in pen, and coloured in felt tips and crayons.

nice tattoos.... Kewl pic. I love how it's realistic, but it's not at the same time. (wow that made no sense.) But if you get what I mean, your style is very realistic, but it has that cartoon-ish look to it. That makes it very unique. Good job!cheesemeister on October 20, 2006, 8:17:31 AM

Yes!!! Jesper! This is an awesome pic! The detail work, especially on the tattoos is just nuts! And In Flames kicks much @$$. I saw them last February, and they blew the place away. They even went back to the Lunar Strain album and did the song Behind Space.I've got a pic of Anders that I'm working on, myself. It's somewhere in my gallery, I think. I'd like to request you check it out and give me some feedback. It's really one of the first realism pics I've done, and I'd like some feedback from someone who appears to have a great deal of skill.

Wow, thanks so much, you're far too kind! Yeah, In Flames rule, I saw them in June and I'm going to see them in November with Slayer.Of course I will check out your gallery, I look forward to seeing that Anders drawing!!
