wooo! this is nice! honestly we need more Native American Super Heroes!  i personaly have three NAtive american tribe in me, Cherokee, Apache, and Oneida! so its great to see this kinda stuff :D

Superbly done.  He exudes sheer power!  That being said, the really important question remains:  What does he do?  Being an old comic book nerd, I have to wonder what powers he has, if indeed he has actual powers.  From the looks of him he may not need them.  
I don't know if you have any interest in doing a real comic book, but it would be nice to see a Native American character done by a real Native American. Such characters mostly seem to be done by people that draw their knowledge from old Wild West movies.

I had two ideas, one being that he was sort of a captain america type, super human strength and durability. The other idea I had when I was finishing him up. He would have more tattoos that would glow and manifest different weapons, like spears and bows and the like, and a big tattoo of a hawk on his back that would sprout ethereal wings so he could fly. Also he could use the hawks to see and spy on his enemies. That would require a redesign though, which I hope to do this weekend. :D

Very good!  I was guessing the superhuman type myself, just because of his appearance.  I love the tattoo idea also, and see no reason why you couldn't combine both ideas.  Having a link with the hawks seems appropriate, but maybe flight as such is too obvious an ability?  Like I said, I'm an old comic book nerd, and I can't help thinking like that.  I just hope my comments are useful in any way.
