Hmmm...
I really like the pose and the background colouring (how DO you do that beautiful grass?), but the bird itself really doesn't seem "falcon-y" to me. The colouring and beak seem more like a red-tailed hawk. Falcon beaks are notoriously hard to draw, and sometimes you have to draw it almost too short to get it to look right. The head is pure falcon, but the beak... hmmm. Think more parakeet. It sounds silly, but it helped me. =D
Back on the subject of the grass... is this all done on the computer, or was it hand-done and scanned in? I can't figure out if that wonderful orange glow over the field is over hand-or computer-drawing.
