Well these are my OC's when they were younger. Aiko and Takeshi :3.
My first attempts at the pen tool! :D!
Okay. Like. Takeshi's totally hanging from a tree...on a hill. which is why there's not decent background besides clouds ^^; .... work with me people!
And yeah. I don't like the way Takeshi came out too much. He was the first one i pen tooled and colored. And when i used the pen tool for him i used #2 size for the brush tool. For Aiko i used #1. Which is why she looks. Like. ALOT better lol. Also, they were two dif pictures but i felt like combining them in the end^^; smart choice? Prob Not. Won't make that mistake again :)
Aiko~ Yeah. She's got blue hair. That wasn't how i first imagined her. But i imagined her older brother with dark blue hair... So to make them look like..Family, i had to compromise ^-^;; Her hair is like that when she's younger (with bangs and all) but when she's older it'll be styled differently. Her clothes. I totally just...drew something lol. better then just a plain t-shirt like for Takeshi. (which i'll change later)
Takeshi~ He's got platinum blonde hair :D. I love that color. And i always imagined him with really light hair. He's wearing a green shirt... That'll change... ^.^. Okay. Another thing is. Well WHY is he hanging upside down anyway? ~YellowFlash001 Blame her yo. Lol. Next time i draw him he'll be right side up. ^^
Uhhh. I'm prob gonna end up drawing my OC's again. And coloring them all... Cuz i like...want you guys to have references of them...if i like...request/art trade for them... xD;;;
References: ~HardcorePrincess's pimplisious girl reference sheet. I didn't copy it like..fully i just used it a little. I say Aiko doesn't look that bad lol. (not too used to drawing Girls. Though i might now more)

i...i used the mouse ._.For pen tool it doesn't require much mouse coordination. You add an anchor point. then another. then you click in the middle, Ctrl and drag and it bends the line.
