I really (and I mean really REALLY) love the exaggerated proportions. They suit it so well, and the shading is just... TIGHT! I love this pic!<br />

But I agree that the face could have used a little more work... like some cheekbones or something. It's just a little over-simplified compared to the rest of him. And the halo seems just a tad too thick. Ah well, just one person's opinion.<br />

It's still great. I really like the stylized flames in the background.

I agree about the neck thing, though I digress about the commnetf it looking better with long hair. Like KFelidae said, it's a personal preference, but I think it's become a stereotype that angels must have long hair. <br />

Ah, this is a wonderfully done pic. The armor is very nicely and cleanly done, the halo looks very cool, and you can draw FIRE! *bows* Since the neck thing has already been said... The one thign that got me was that, like the more common version of angels, this one did not have long, flowing hair. Though I suppose it's more of a personal preference. Still, it makes him look very much like a child.

I agree with Raymei, the armor and wings and everything else is INCREDIBLE, just maybe add some muscle lines on the neck and it would be perfect! Love the flame effect in back!

you did the armor and the body and the wings and stuff so well. but it looks like you got lazy/sloppy with the head o.o<br />
It may be because of the neck/arm ratio. If the arms and body are that beefy, it would have some affect on the neck too
