*Spoliers for Chapter 2*
I could feel myself slipping in and out of conciousness. I could not understand anything she said from that moment on, she sounded far away and under water. I swear I must've been crazy but as I silently watched Yasmin move over me I saw an angel's wings. This was it, I was sure I was dying. When my eyes drifted shut I feared they might never open again.

Dreams of Dezara danced through my head. She was laying beside me in a field of blossoming May flowers. Her green eyes pierced through my skin and set me on fire. She sat up and held her hand out for me, reluctantly I took it. Without a word Dezzy led me to a long dark cave. I gasped, the dark was not my favorite place to be. She giggled and pulled me inside anyway, all I could see was the reflected light from her eyes as I'm sure she could see mind. She seemed to be smiling as sunlight suddenly filtered through a gap in the ceiling.

Elegant crystals stuck out of the cave walls and some littered the floor. All of them reflected the sunlight to create a beautiful pattern on the ceiling, floor, and Dezara. Her eyes glittered in the reflected light. This was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen! I smiled and ran to her, my arms outstrected to embrace her.

I watched in horror as she disapeared into little twinkling dust specks. I was alone once more. A tear rolled down my cheek as darkness once again consumed the cave. I was afraid I would never see anything, be it scary or beautiful, ever again. I was doomed to wander this darkness forever.
