Oodles the Carolina Dog

He is the brother of the main character from a story I wrote in my childhood. He is a Carolina dog (American dingo) and lives in a place called Hemlock hill. Hemlock Hill is "the most civilized" of all dog societies and the dogs there have form a nation and have their own democracy. They call themselves people and call all the rest (including humans) animals. He is an amateur engineer who wants to make it big in life but is always getting into trouble with his inventions. Oodles is always inspired and seems to have an endless amount of energy. Sometimes he stays up all night in deep thought over an invention. Sometimes he hates to be bothered by other "people" (dogs).
