Herself: despite her outward look, Destal is quite a quiet person, the result of being exposed to alcoholic abusive parents at a young age. Jinx, her uncle, walked in on one of her parents drunken rages and rescued her when she was about 9. She lived with him until she was 16, when he introduced her to the underground. Having no possessions other than the clothes on her back and her tools, she sleeps in the hideout.<br />
She is not your typical quiet person; she almost never panics or shows fear and is always calm. The exact opposite of naïve, when she does say something it is usually sarcastic. Her quietness often makes her seem depressed.<br />
However, her sad childhood has left another mark – she is extremely untrusting of anyone she doesn’t know – although she is a loyal friend when that particular fence knocked down. Strangely, though, she has a way with animals, and clicks with Daxter as soon as she sees him at an underground meeting.<br />
For the underground, she runs a small repair shop in the bazaar. All her wages she gives to the underground, to pay for guns, zoomers, communications, etc. She also fixes underground machinery when Vin and Keira are too busy.<br />
Her love life: Although she doesn’t show fear in many things, Destal is positively frightened when it comes to this subject. She met Raven at an underground meeting, when he sat next to her. She had never had a crush on anyone, and had always been wary of men, so when she looked at him and realized that she liked him it scared her because she trusted him without even knowing him. Raven likes her but is more open about it.<br />
Her dream: Destal’s dream is to go on proper missions for the underground. Ever since she learned there was a gun course, she would sneak out every spare moment to practice with a small handgun she diverted some of her wages into.<br />
Her strengths: due to her sneak outs, she is a very good gun fighter; she can also hold herself up in a non-weapons fight, something that Jinx made sure of made sure of as soon as he rescued her. If Torn were to take her on, he would find out she would be a valuable asset, since she does not panic even in the worst of situations.<br />
Her weaknesses: her weaknesses are mostly psychological –she tends to bottle things up too much and to keep everyone at arms length. However, she does have a massive phobia of knives, and although Torn is one of the few people she does trust, as soon as he takes out his knives, she’s outta there.<br />
Her motto: “Stay alone. Might not be fun, but at least you don’t get hurt.”<br />
