My version of the 4-taild demon god of japanese myth. a mix of a rooster and a snake who are husband and wife inside sokou's body.

I was drawing a beared dragon for a friend and it made an indent on the page below after I cut it out..and I thought..."That is soooo Sokou!!" And that's how I came up with most of his body and face^^"
Coolness, huh!!
All the tailed beasts where once gods at one time, but then when Yamatta no Orocchi got a hold of the saccrade sword (nagi--something or other) and swallowed it(he was once the weakest of the tailed animals) He became the most powerful next to Kyuubi no kitsune(9-tailed fox) it turned them all into their animal forms and woke up Kyuubi, who now serches the world for the one who woke him and kill that person so that he can go back to sleep^^""
He eventually did defeat him(100yr battle), but Orocchi never told him that he was the one who woke him from his slumber...Ironic, huh?!!
Sokou lives in mount Fuji and his/her special power is that of poison. There's a lot more to it, but I'd have to go look it up again...
I found a lot of info on Naruto manga returns. One of the chat bords talks about the War of the tailed Gods and It's got a lot of interesting info and the site has all the updated naruto manga you can handle. A new manga every week^^"
