So, every once in a while i were a pair of dark jeans, faded black, or dark blue, and no one at school calls me emo, or goth. But when i go out in a bright blue blouse, bangles, beads, and sparkles, BUT BLACK JEANS, I'm automatically labelled emo by my mom and aunt.
I could care less, but they rant on about it, going in directions that make me want to crash the car we're driving. I know this isn't unique, i know emo-goth-bangles-multiple bracelets, etc have been done before. I just like it.
I was emo in 7th and 8th grade. now? I'm a mishmash of whatever the hell i like and whatever i look good in. Labeling isn't completely wrong, it's when you go all out to look like that label or when you automatically shun someone for being under the category.
this was my halloween costume, a collaboration of clothes i just looked good in and loved to wear.
everyone liked it, and no one was inappropriate towards me. Win-win situation.
