He asked me to include a $525 space with yellow numbers, and a Press Your Luck-style dark blue $470 with white numbers. He also asked me to do the sequin green $1000 (this round's top value).
The purpose of the grey $500 space with a star is if you land on it, $500 is added to your score without you having a guess a letter (the way the now-retired Free Spin space used to work).

that disk used today originally worked that way as well i watched a 1990 ep on youtube for proof of this.

Seriously, I wish our version did the same with our prizes that the Australian version did. I'm mean, just the Wild Card? Come on! Just give us the $700 underneath it! A lot of Wheel watchers know the d**n layout already, so stop acting like we don't know!
