This was the closest category I could find when it comes to airplanes since I couldn't find an airplane category.

Today, I drew this quick illustration commemorating the 30th anniversary of the crash of American Airlines Flight 191. As the McDonnell Douglas DC-10 was taking off from O'Hare Airport in Chicago, bound for Los Angeles International Airport, the #1 engine under the left wing completely tore off. All the hydraulics leaked out, which resulted in the loss of control of the plane. The plane crashed into a trailer park just outside O'Hare. All 271 on the plane were killed, along with two others on the ground.

This is dedicated to the 273 people who lost their lives as a result of this disaster, as well as those who were affected by it.

alitta2I hadn't heard of this disaster before, but it's really shocking. R.I.P. for all the 275 people!

germannameWell, it's a very big disaster. It's the worst aviation accident that took place on U.S. grounds.

BTW, it was actually 273 people, all 271 on the plane, and 2 on the ground, that were killed in this disaster. The two may have thrown you off, but let's not forget any of them.

alitta2Oh, I thought there were 273 on the plane and 2 on the ground, that's why I wrote 275. Then I just misunderstood, sorry.
