Description
This next collage of Wheel of Fortune misplacements takes the form of the nighttime 1988 round 3 wheel although some of these misplacments took place before or after 1988.
1995: In a couple episodes, one each from season 12 and 13, the $10,000 prize was placed on the other Bankrupt than what it normally sat on.
1994: A couple times during season 12, the $3500 sat on top of the purple $150 instead of the red $300 space it normally sits on. Note the Surprise wedge also sat in this very location a couple times during the same season as well.
1989: In a late 1989 episode, in a rare instance of $3500 being the top dollar for round 4 instead of $5000, a ring valued at $5200 was placed on top of the pink $300 space instead of the purple $150 (where the $3500 is currently sitting in this illustration).
1996: In one episode where Wheel went to Hawaii, the wheel normally used for round 3 at the time was used for round two instead. Since the Free Spin token was available in rounds 1 and 2, it was placed on the pink $200 space.
1989: When season 7 started on September 4, 1989, the half of the template used to convert the round three wheel into the round four wheel wasn't ready. In response, the $5000 was placed where the $3500 space would normally sit.
