You mean Houkou the five tailed dog of japanese mythology^^ huh?!
It took me awile to find out that it was a white dog^^
He lives up in the sacride tree that heals his body. Each tail stands for the five elements: fire, earth, water, wind, lighting. His special power is the power of illusion. He once faught the nine-tailed fox (kyuubi no kitsune) with the help of the two tailed cat (neko matta) but they both lost. The god of death saved his cat in the last minute while the dog fleed to the tree to heal it's self. No one knows where the exact location of the tree is. and he is the only bi-juu who was not sealed in some form of container.

kyuubi was sealed in a prison, shukaku in a ketle.
