Hi people! I did this picture in art club and I like it a lot@ It took me a long time to finally finish it. This is the first time I did shading by myself, instead of copying a pictures shading. Well, tell me what you think!

I agree with Adalia Glenys. The fairy is a little out of place, and the tree leaves look somewhay off: unless that's what you meant to do. The shading is pretty good though.

The shading and contours give the monochrome features an interesting three-dimensional effect, rather like a relief carving. Personally, I think the background could stand alone; the fairy seems a little out of place. I think that's mostly because of the vivid coloring and the marked difference in shading; the figure looks superimposed to me.
