Billy Connolly

I drew this for my art class as homework. We were told to draw a famous person. Pretty vague. I couldn't think of anyone that I would actually like to draw. Then I spotted my video of Billy when I was looking for some inspiration. I saw the picture on the cover and thought to myself "perfect!"
The hair and shading is pretty naff. But I liked the picture as a whole so I thought I'd put it in.
Its not the most complementary picture of him, but I love the expression.
I did this back in second year (Scottish system education that is, its complicated to relate it to other systems, but I was 13 at the time) I think if I were to do it again, it would turn out much better!
Oh! And I got a top grade for it and an 'excellent' comment too. =0)! Very pleased
Oh, and I put the first picture in the comedians category! That's a first for me!
