Fade To Black - Bleach

Nothing big, random practice fanart. I'm not 100% happy with it, but it was more or less a test in how fast I can make a decent picture, and under 40 minutes ain't too bad considering the product. I plan on doing more of these quickies to try and better my speed and capabilities.

One new thing, I used Adobe Illustrator for the lines. Instead of the tedius work that comes with the pen-tool in photoshop, illustrator allows the option of freehand tracing. At big sizes, the lines are vectorized and smoothed out as you draw. Adjustments are minor and easy to do if you know the program, so what usually takes me an hour in itself, inking was done in like 10 minutes.

I recommend giving this technique a shot!
