Thank you "Bleak Lead", I'm glad you were able to see the angel's true strength, dispite the wings being in the way, good eyes...

That's so good to hear! I really make a conscious effort to break away from sterio type images, by not repeating what everyone else has done in the past! This method doesn't go over too well with people with one track minds... So I'm really glad that you can view my myth depictions, outside man made boundaries... Thank you!

Thank you for your comments... I would advise all that no matter the field of work... Sometimes it would seem that the more one does, the more is expected of them... But the idea behind art is to open up the imagination of all and motivate others to further expand the horizons of creativity and explore new technics and styles, I would advise promising students and even novices to break the rules, because there are no boundaries on the palet of imagination...

Interesting.<br />

I like the details on the armour, and wish I could see his chestplate and bracers behind those wings. The wings themselves looks fairly decent as wings, but lack the definition in the primaries that one would expect of a "large bird". The head, also, looks a little small. Though I do like the pose he's in -- usually angels are restricted to purely action poses, smiting demons and all that. It's nice to see a "relaxed" pose.
