GORGONS: The three lovely daughters of the sea titans Porcys and Ceto... Three sisters Stheno, Euryal and Medusa the youngest and most beautiful... all served as priestesses in the temple of the goddess Athena... Medusa’s beauty turned into a cursed, as she became the raped victim of Poseidon (the sea god) and shortly there after all three sisters were transformed into the hideous snake hair Gorgons by Athena, because the incident took place in her temple...
