Hee...
So instead of doing homework/reading/studying today, I decided to shade and finish my Firion pic!
God was shading a biznatch though... I NEED A TABLET!! DX
Oh yeah, and I suck at shading metal. Oh well. I might get a tablet for mah birfday (which is in a month) ^_^
I love Firion SOOOO much in Dissidia! Now I have this urge to get FF2 for my PSP! My poor PSP, with only 1 game to play... LOL.
Seriously... Firion is just awesome. Even though his dream has to do with flowers, it's still a pretty neat and thoughtful one.
"Wild roses... My dream is a world filled with wild roses. When the battle is over, I want to fill the world with flowers. A world where we can overcome what we have lost, where even the rain and the wind can provide us with strength..."
*EDIT*
I KNEW there was a reason why I loved his voice so much!!!
I was thinking the other day about how his voice sounded similar to Nero's in DMC4, and low and behold, I was right!
*has huge fan-girl squee*

Yeah, haha, that move is awesome. Although he makes a funny grunting sound when doing it! XD
I've loved the FF's I've played, but that only comprises the newer additions to the series (7, 8, 10, 10-2, 12). But I'd really love to play some of the older ones to get a feel of where this awesome series came from! Then FF2 I shall give a try! 8)

Of the numbered games in the series, I've played and completed 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 + 10-2.
If you have a Nintendo DS, I recommend getting FF3 and FF4. Especially FF4 - the cutscenes actually have voice overs, which is awesome!
If you can find it, I recommend FF9 to. It's a great one to play that takes the series back to it's fantasy/medieval roots.
My personal favourite is number 8. Yours?

Alas, I do not own a DS... 8(
My roomie has one, but she gets really bored with FF games (tried to give her 7, and she got super bored...).
I've heard mixed things about 3, but I've heard 4 is pretty good. 9 is one I'd love to play. I'd just have to find it first (eBay!).
My favorite... that's a toughie. I'm kind of a retarded fan-girl over 12, but the battle system gets old sometimes, and Vaan is obnoxious as the "main" character. 8 was the very first one I played, but I was too young to get it and didn't beat it until after I beat 7. So in a sense, I'm kinda partial to all the ones I have played. The one I liked least was 10-2 simply because it was really really weird (although I enjoyed the VERY ending of it).

Your roomie got "super" bored of 7!? HOW CAN THAT BE?????
EVICT HER, AND STEAL HER DS!!!! LOL!
The very first FF I played was 3. At the time, I wasn't aware of how awesome the series was so I just took it as a normal game. I still enjoyed it though, very addictive!
And I was so hoping you weren't one of those who were "iffy" about 10-2, but I guess it isn't for everyone. I personally enjoyed it all.
We can talk more about the FF series on my profile page if you like!

:D He looks amazing now you've shaded him! And, yes shading pictures is way more important than studying!
If you want to shade metal better, I suggest you do much darker shadows, and stronger highlights, try using a bit of white as well, as if the sun is shining on the metal.
Overall, this pic= WIN!

My favourite move of his is "Weapon Master"!
I've played FF2 on my PSP, and it's good. The level up system is quite different, but good. If you're a fan of the series, get it!
