I've had the idea of dressing Masaru up as Sesshomaru since I put up my picture "Masaru&Rena". Someone said that he looked alot like Sesshomaru...and I agree (though it wasn't planned that way).

And Lindsay's "No One Cares For OCs" series (go check out! Everyone needs to read these things!) made me well, put him in this situation.
Poor Masaru...I'm going to be mean to him for a while^^ Incase you can't read my handwriting...

Me: Come on, you'll get more comments this way.

Masaru: frack NO!

I know I screwed up on Sess's outfit, but I haven't drawn him in a long while.
So yeah, that's the excuse.

Used: Pencil and ink
Time~
Tries: 1
Sketch: 10mins
Inking: 15mins
Coloring: ~~

I may color this later...I'm going to be trying out a new coloring style, so maybe.

Anyway, this picture is talking about how people ignore original characters, and skid onto official characters.
So what if they're not on TV? People should treat them the same.

There could be someone's OC, wonderful art and history, but they go right on past that and go to a lesser quality Inuyasha drawing (no offence meant, simply proving a point).

I'm not against fanart. That's great if you can draw official characters well, but that doesn't mean ignore OCs.
I draw both; fanart more, though. Alot of people draw offical characters because all they have to do is copy what someone else has come up with.
Original characters take longer to draw because you have to plan out their design, and if you want, history behind the character.

...Yay for rants, and now I'm finished. Make any since? No...so read the moral!

Moral to this rant: OCs are characters, too!
