hello again =^.^=

i've not been on FAC for ages due to a combination of a drawing block (lol), getting my GCSE results and starting collage

anyhow my grandma and grandad asked me to draw this for them :) it really inspired me seeing as I remember her from when I was little

I must say i really like drawing in charcoal! yay! if it would stop breaking and getting all over my hands =^¬.¬^=

As you can see her part of her poor ear is kinda missing =^-.-^= i suppose thatz what you get for trying to fit a A3 picture in a A4 scanner...you'd think i'd learn...lol
i must say thats a very good start with drawing a realistic dog my first one didnt have shading at all.well you wanted tips first you may want to work on the structuring of the head its a tad off the way to correct that is turn the photo upside down and also look in the mirror.thats what i do to correct any small flaws.second when drawing a black dog darken the black fur even more to make the shine stand out that will give it even an more realistic look.third darken around the teeth to bring the white out more to make it not blend in so much with the mouth.i hope you continue to work on realistic animals because i feel you have what it takes.keep in touch when you have more pics like these and im going to add you to my favorite list
