DOGPILE!!!

Heheh... This is the whole reason I got back in practice drawing anime. This one picture. Yay!

Heh, there are numerous puns in this. If you get them, good for you, if you don't, they are pretty weak anyway. Or, you could just highlight, copy, and paste this text in notepad or something. Inuyasha's part dog demon, thus the dogpile. Shippo is a fox demon, a relative of dogs. Thus, the "numerous puns".

Hm, Inuyasha's face looks a bit odd...

Drawn on paper, and colored in colored pencil. Man, those things work great! I used a very, very, VERY light layer of orange for their skin, 'cuz my crayon was smearing the pencil. Shippo's tail is not supposed to look the same color as his skin, my scanner messed it up. I used 2 layers of color for Shippo's yellowish shirt, and three layers for the one with the leaf pattern. I am very proud of this picture.

1 1/2 hours for the sketchy lineart, another half hour to perfect it. 15 minutes of coloring before I messed it up and had to trace my lineart to another piece of paper. And, 30 minutes of coloring. 15 minutes to edit a few things on the computer, mostly one of Inuyasha's eyes and a place where the pencil went over the line. I might be underestimating, who knows?
