Description
"What can I say, it's Shadow, hovering, with an emerald... not my best piece of work... and i really need to work on my hand poses, but it's one of my best pictures of any hedgehog from the front."
If anyone remembers what pic that description is from, good for you! Two years ago exactly I drew the Shadow on the right. Today I did the one on the right. In watercolor. Because I was bored. ANYWAY... http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-436028.html
I realized that I had drawn the original picture that I based the new one off of exactly two years ago, so... I was promising to do a comparison picture soon anyway, so... Two birds with one stone.
I also learned I stink at using watercolors. Had to do a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of cleanup on Photoshop. Also had to reconstruct the stripe on Shadow's left (our right) leg completely from scratch using the color on his stripes. But it was worth it, when compared to the original and uncleaned version.

P.S. I had originally redrawn the pic at a friend's house but I let her keep the sketch so I redid it.
