They can? ?_? that's weird..... well ya men are likely to have this illness 'cause the chromosome y (ya chromosome.... stupid English of mine) has less genes that the chromosome X... So the gene that develops the illness and lies within the X has no match in the y... And although it's recessive, it determinates hemophilia for lack of it's 'partner'... In woman's case if one of the chromosomes has the gene... the character of this gene doesn't appear... but the woman carries it (duh).... but I thought when both chromosomes have it... it's fatal . ~_~ Oh well I should get informed better. Do you know a woman with hemophilia?
And ya I figured it out that you wanted her with hemophilia..... ^_^
And I still like her! She's creepy!!! uuuuuu

Oh my! She looks awesome....
Anyway I don't want to disappoint you but (you probably know).... only men have hemophilia.... Women can inhered the gene.... but the illness doesn't manifest itself at them.. It is a hidden gene that lies in the crommoson X(i hope i'm not mistaking.... anyway I don't know how to spell it *bang*)... I a woman's case when the 2 bad genes meet (that is, they both exist in each cromo-whatever thing X)... it's fatal.. and the embryo dies...
OOOOOOR..................... you might know this and I'm just being Miss Know it All... and you just made this character a 'Super' woman monster thing......
If that's so.... it's awesome..... i mean noooooo... it's awful...... ahhhhh poor monster girl thing....................
Can i sting her with a needle?

actually woman can have hemophilia. They're just less likely to have it since it is recessive in the X chromosome (woman chromosomes are XX while men have XY) The Y chromosome... it lacks something or other (can't remember what) so men are more likely to develop the illness.
Even if this is EXTREMELY rare for a woman, I still wanted a character with hemophilia :D
