In the Jungle, the Mighty Jungle

My lame-assed attempts to draw fanart for KHU's August fanart competition. This month was "vacationing," and I thought it sounded like fun. I picked up my #2 mechanical pencil and my Magic Rub eraser and spent about an hour drawing out Sora, Kairi, and Riku. It was frustrating trying to get them to look right in the positions I wanted (Sora clearing the path of weeds with his Keyblade, Kairi running an annoyed hand through her hair, and Riku trying to find reception on his pink Razor phone). Then I might have spent another two hours tonight trying to color it with colored pencils, because I lack any sort of digital coloring software (i.e. Painter or Photoshop). The background took a whole five minutes. I tried to make it intricate, but if you take a look, all it is is hatching and cross-hatching. I just CAN'T spend time on detail; it kills me. Probably why I'll never become a famous artist (which is fine by me, lol).
