Doctor Who Tardis

My family is filled with Dr Who fans, so when my daughter decided she would like to arrive to her senior Prom in a TARDIS, we built one.  It took 1 week to totally complete.  All we had was a picture and started from scratch.  The structure is made out of plywood, with the trim work done by 2x6's, 2x4's, and 1x3's.  We primed the entire structure prior to painting it a solid blue.  Once painted, it was distressed with a darker blue and the windows were painted using, blue, grey, and white paint.  The "Police Box" signs where primed, then painted blue, then painted black leaving a blue trim, then "Public Call" painted on using a stencil.  The other letters where cut out and Modge podged on.  The sign on the front of the tardis was printed off the internet and glued, then covered with a sealer.  The light on the top was made out of white and blue stained glass, with a light bulb place inside (it does work).  Thanks to my son, daughter, Megan Tibbs with paint and Ronnie Hall with carpentry.
