I remember this one picture in the Final Fantasy little booklet. 8D Graphics sure has changed. Instead of this kind of humanoid stature, they made Cloud into a a semi-muscular hot dude that hair that has invincible hairspray in it. ;o

Wonderful attention to the dark values! There are some program tools that help erase that distracting blue on the edges and the stray marks! Nice work!!! ;DDD

Thanks for commenting on this luckylace. I actually drew this from a picture I spotted in a PS2 magazine six or seven years ago. (I remember my son was at junior school when I drew it and he's going to college now - how time flies.)
I think the blue tinges may have been caused by my pushing the contrast adjustment rather too high. I left them as I thought they added a bit of colour to an otherwise rather monochrome drawing, lol.
I think his hair, face and arms could definitely do with being a lot less pale. They are a bit too strongly overshadowed by his clothing as things are. (Not sure I can remember where I put the orriginal drawing though!)
