I've been attempting to draw Tinkerbell while watching the first Disney Tinkerbell film (2008 version) on DVD. It's a wonderful film with a beautiful story and some absolutely amazing artwork. The music is excellent too imo. I had to do rather a lot of rubbing out and correcting of Tink's proportions etc, but in the end I'm quite pleased with how my drawing of her turned out. I hope you like my first fairy drawing.

liggybirdThanks Crystal. The wings are supposed to be translucent (but without any background showing through them it's maybe not so obvious!). I'm thinking of drawing Tinkerball full length soon. I usually draw by copying (as best I can) from still pictures or photographs. With this, however, I was attempting to memorise as much as I could (of Tink's features) in between watching the film on the TV screen and sketching. I guess I need a lot more practise doing things this way. I've ended up with a fairy - only she's not quite Disney's Tinkerbell! Oh well.

lashanta22I think you did a good job on the wings. Maybe if you doubled them they would look see threw. The more you practice her the easier it gets...although I'm not too crazy about her for some odd reason lol My girlfriend loves Tinkerbell^^
