I wanted the things you mentioned (but especially the eyes)to be moderately emphasised madamlaracroft. I think I was trying, by enhancing certain features, to create a hint of 'animé' about Danielle's portrait. She's an artist of animé comics (among other things) you see. Thanks for commenting. I'll comment some of your drawings shortly. (I've neglected commenting the good people on FAC for far too long. My bad.)

Yes, I'm really pleased with the way this turned out. There were several stages while I was drawing when I wondered, 'Maybe I should leave it now?' as I was afraid I might spoil things - but I'm glad now I carried on because the extra time spent has, I feel, given the drawing a much more 'finished' look. I like the way the glasses came out and the fluffy, wavy look of the hair too. Also I think the pose of yours, looking up at the observer over the top of your glasses, gives the impression that you've just been interrupted doing something (eg reading a book) and really shows off your eyes well. I'm so glad you're happy with this. I had fun drawing you. ^O^
