Why don't you just draw the official characters in your own style? Why do you feel like you are doing something wrong or unfair? Anyway, if I can make a good original story I will have to let you read it and see what you think.

P; Well, you see, whether I draw it in their art style or mine, the fact it is their character still makes me feel like I am stealing/cheating into something I should not. However, if I really really like the character, I do feel a need to draw fanart! -But comics...oh man, that will take understanding the characters and a whole bunch of palooza. If you can give me the right story with interesting plot and guidelines, I bet I could do it, but only if it can interest me enough to overcome my disinterest in drawing others official characters!

Yes, I am being difficult! Tell me when you write that story and link it to me! I will enjoy reading your work! I still remember the Rainbow Ball!

I do remember the Rainbow Ball. I am thinking about writing another story involving those characters. It would start again with a chapter called, "Rainbow Ball", but I would retweek it to fit a complete story line. Right now I'm working on an Avatar the Last Airbender fanfic, and a Danny Phantom fanfic. I won't be able to post them here though because they are X-rated, but if you are over 18 and interested, you could be my proofreader. ^-^

Yes, but even I am finding places in which I find a typo, grammatical error, or a part that doesn't make sense when read aloud. I've profread it so many times that I catch myself skimming. I have the first eight chapters done, but it is all one document. I need to break it apart into different files so I can post it. Also it isn't technically one paper...I have the same story but from two different view points so I would also need someone to check to make sure that there are no inconstancies.

As for the stories, I have gotten the typing bug so I'm doing a bunch of typing and I'm loving it.

I will not make the deadline for the contest. I have a picture that includes mistletoe, but it's not the one I would want to submit. I suppose I could just submit it for the giggles. I am still planning on drawing the picture I did want to submit then post it next year.

Go submit that mistletoe picture anyways! You never know what point score you will get! It could give you a nice insight on your level in contests too!

I'm still unpacking boxes in my new place. I'm not even sure where my drawing supplies are. That and I took a look at the requirements for the contest and there is no way I could compete with that level of skill.

;3; Bllluuuuuu, but you never know! Pictures that I thought would get lower points somehow ended up getting higher points! It all depends on the statistics! If Skill doe snot work, you can always compensate with good creativity. If Creativity does not work, you can compensate by putting good Christmas ornaments and color in! It all depends on stratedy. However, I understand with your new packing situation and absent art supplies! If you are not busy later though- you know what to do. OHOHOH *peer pressure*

I found my art box today, however, I still have many more boxes to unpack before I start drawing. Then school starts in a week so I don't know what I will do. I will probably ask for suggestions since I am having an art block. I do however want to write a few Danny Phantom fanfics, and I have an idea for an original story, that I would love to have someone turn into a comic....although seeing my Danny Phantom fanfic turned into a comic would be awesome too.

Hah! I would do those comics if I was not so bad at drawing already official characters. Drawing comics with original characters is what I prefer, since using others official characters always makes me feel like I am doing something wrong/unfair. For example, I am drawing this yaoi manga called Accelerando for my friend Steph (yes, I have been neglecting my art-trades/gift art to draw a yaoi comic!). Drawing her original characters is tons more fun than drawing fan characters!

...Maybe Fanart Central was a weird place for me to start. xD

Lol I agree with the person who says that is his inner self. Thats what I would have thought if you didn't say anything. and poor Hisae he just can't escape from it.
