Samurai and Spear

I'm in Art 2 (got into the art classes a bit late, I'm a senior). We were doing drawings from pictures so the basics was to focus on proportions. That day I didn't get to start mine so I thought I'd practice before next class (I'm glad I did). We have to do two sketchbook entries a week. I picked up a random GameInformer and found an ad for Samurai Warriors. Never played it...don't intend to, but here's a little piece of fanart for it. Lol!<br />

The logo actually covered up about 1/3rd of this pic so I had to imagine the lower part...which you can semi-tell due to that big black area. The mouth looks weird...this is the second mouth I drew on it. A bit better than the first but it should be wider according to the picture.<br />

Everything would look nicer if it weren't for the blurry picture.
