in my mind i figure if you want to post a fan picture from a series you need to do it in the style you use best unless the series style is what your best at because that way you can make it look the best you can. if you do it in the style the series has and it's not your best style you risk making it look crappy, and it makes it you look like your coping the Author's style which to me seems slightly uncreative and it's kinda of werid. but who cares if it's your opinion that's fine with me and i respect that

You're right actually, I didn't spend much time on the jacket and even less on the gecko, but I didn't think it was within my ability to make them look any better.
I don't often color using the computer and I'm still learning how to do some things properly.
But I disagree with your saying it should look like a naruto character,I probably could have made it look that way if I had tried but I don't really see the point in trying to copy Kishimoto-sensei's artwork. I always have way more fun when I'm drawing in my own style.

and some looks like you may have just slaped it on there, such as the gecko. and the tastle on the sword in his hand, which by the way. where is it suppoused to be sheathed??? only 2 problems i have to state that i could do with out, is that it is from naruto. and the face features could use smaller things...O_O such as....... his eyes are F***ING HUGE like any anime character i would expect. but seeing as how he is to be a naruto character, you should go for the same style that the series puts out
