About hands: Hands are always very hard to draw. But if you have a digi-cam you could make a photo of your own hand and transfer it then to your drawing.
I do this often if I don't know how to draw a hand inside a pic.

Well. I work the most time on the computer, so it's always great for me to see pencil drawings. I think with a little bit more practice you can draw much better.
