"Cocka-doodle-doo! Your tar-girl's here and she needs shampoo!"
or
"Cocka-doodle-doo! your dirty girl's come back to you!"

This was from the story Mother Holle by the Bro. Grimms. In the story, theres two girls, one pretty and one ugly. The pretty one is treated like a maid and does all the chores while the ugly one does nothing. Guess who's the favorite....and your right! it's little miss ugly! so anyways, the pretty one is making string by the well (in the background) and the spindle falls in. She thinks about tell mommy, but knows that mommy's gonna freak. So into the well she goes, landing in a field. There's an oven that asks her to take out it's bread because its ready. So like all nice, pretty-girl heroines in the fairy tales she does what it tells her. Then later an apple tree tells her to pick it's apples off. Then she arrives at mother Holle's house. The girl see's mother Holle's large teeth and gets creeped. Mother Holle really is a nice woman and asks the pretty girl to work for her. The girl gets a job shaking momma Holle's bed and letting feathers fall out to turn into snow in the human world. The girl gets to live a better life with momma Hollle instead of mommy and ugly sis because she now gets yummier food like roasts and other stuff. Eventually, the pretty girl gets homesick (why the heck do you want to go back to a life of being nagged at?). So she tells momma Holle. Momma Holle is a little sad now, but understands, so she tells the pretty girl to walk through the door for her reward. When the pretty girl comes out, theres a shower of gold on her. She thanks motheer Holle and goes on her way. She gets home and her mommy and ugly sis she her shining with gold and she tells the story of how it happend. The ugly one is told to do the same by mommy. But unlike the pretty one, she wont take out the bread or pick the apples (the tree should've let the apples tumble on her to death). She gets to M. Holle's house and work for only one day and sleeps the rest. when she goes home she expects a shower of gold, instead she gets a tar shower. Then she gets home and mommy and pretty sis see her. The rooster sings a song about how she looked when she got back. And the good thing is that the tar never came off for the rest of her life!!
