Description
Coolest. God. Ever.
Anyway. Loki is a deity from Norse mythology. He's known as the trickster of the gods, and he normally does (did) small, low-grade pranks such as chopping someone's hir off, or making snide comments that get him in trouble. However, eventually, he ended up assisting in the killing of a well-known and loved god (Baldur, I think). Therefore, he was chained to a rock, to stay there until the Twilight of the Gods, or Ragnarök.
He has many children, but the three he had with Angrboda (a giantess) are the most important:
Fenrir - A wolf that's bound by some sorta rope, but when Ragnrök begins, he'll escape and swallow the sun (and kill Odin)
Jörmungandr - A giant snake/sea serpent so big that he surrounds the world.
Hel - Half woman, half rotting corpse. She rules the relm of the dead.
