Err, second attempt at a basic portrait-thing. i'm trying to figure out the basics...same character as in my icon. One day, maybe I'll even draw something with an expression!
Hurr hurr hurr.
I actually did the sketch for this in pen on my history notes -- the teacher wasn't too pleased about that.

Any crit would be seriously appreciated, as well as tips on the hair. I need to break myself of this spiky manga crap.

it's an unconventional light source especially for a study
and it makes it have a real unique feeling
maybe "other-worldly" is a bit of a stretch, but that's sort of how i feel about it
