A remake of an older picture. There's a bunch of stuff behind this character, but I'm going to sound stupid explaining them in a lot of detail. Basically, her name's Nen - she's the incarnation or embodiment of whatever force keeps the earth turning, and she has to walk the world to keep it moving. Her body continues to wear out, but she still keeps going (Quick, everyone ignore the fact that this is a lame idea!) The mini-earth she's holding is probably a symbol or something.
Originally, ie in ninth grade, I called her the Earthwalker, but that's also pretty lame. Sigh, thirteen-year-old me.

I was trying to approach this better than the last picture of her; she's supposed to be eleven or twelve, and very tired and haunted-looking. The first one did better with the atmosphere but the actual drawing didn't fit well. It also didn't really get her round eyes and general exhaustion with eternally walking. Now I just need to get all the aspects together...

Also, I have the phrase "on her face is a map of the world" stuck in my head, but that sounds awfully pretentious as a title. Where's it from, anyway? My google-fu is lacking.
