1. Did you use my shading method? Because the shading is very nice on here.

3. work on your metal. It doesn't look... real enough.

1- yes and no.... i didn't use black to shade, but i didn't mix up blue/green/purple either. i used variations of the main color and blurred/blended them together.

2- SAI is a painting program, very simple to use. the trial can be found HERE: http://sai.detstwo.com/sai/ if you're gonna download it, use the second link. unless you have vista/windows7, then use the first one. if you want proof of it's awesomeness, watch this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwrS8cCm0KM It starts out in photoshop, but when they start shading, it's all in SAI, then back in photoshop for adjustments.

I saw the vid. I couldn't tell the difference between SAI and PS. I have PS Elements, so my thing is much more different... and by the looks of it, better.

SAI is the one with the color wheel on the left side. i still think you should try it, the size of the vids doesn't let you see the buttons. it's like, two megabytes that you can DELETE. takes literally a few seconds to download. just give it a shot, i'm gonna be gone a while today too. it's family movie day. :P

Uuuhhh... meehhh... I'm not sold. You say "more", "better", and "little buttons", but you still haven't specified anything. HOW is it better?
