Hey, this is my art trade with TripleDdizzy420 from Deviantart! This pic features my oc Melina Ryuu and his oc Yasou Naganako at the Akatsuki base. No, I did not make the hands in back XD that's from the actual manga. Anyway, I decided to write a quick little oneshot with this since I'm a writer as well as an artist hope you enjoy it:

A dark, ominous gloom swept over the dark Akatsuki cave, giving any person who stepped into the place a sense of foreboding. Gentle dripping sounds of water echoed around the domed walls, making light droplet noises as they splashed to the ground. Yasou stood still and tall, his Sharingan eyes darting left and right behind his black hair. Surrounding him were the full Akatsuki members, their rainbow figures looming over him like shadows. They were all standing on the finger tips of the large sealing statue while he was standing on the palm of the right hand.

He blinked slowly before slowly turning his gaze onto the thumb that stood about 10 feet away from him. The Leader of the Akatsuki, Pein, glared down at him, a sense of authority and power over powering Yasou. But he did not back down his gaze as his Sharingan eyes burned into Pein's. Normally, Yasou wouldn't activate his Sharingan for this long amount of time, but in this case, he wasn't going to take any chances. His new Akatsuki cloak hung loosely against his thin toned body; the thick material feeling slightly heavy on his shoulders.

"...Now that you are part of the Akatsuki..." said Pein suddenly, his voice making Yasou tense up slightly, "You will go on various missions with different partners until we can find you a permanent one. Once you've completed each mission, you will return here to give me a full report. Do you understand?" said Pein darkly, his voice echoing around the big, empty cave. Yasou looked up at Pein before nodding softly. Pein gave a slight scoff before raising his gaze up at the rest of the Akatsuki members. Yasou thought Pein was about to address one of them, but instead, he called out,

"Melina, come here!"

In a blur of black and red, a young girl around the age of 17 landed in a crouching position next to Yasou. Yasou merely blinked as the girl slowly stood up, her long brown hair reaching to about mid-back on her Akatsuki cloak. Her piercing blue eyes looked up at Pein while her face was emotionless.

"Yes sir?" she asked, her voice firm but respectful.

"This is Yasou Naganako," said Pein, gesturing towards the new Akatsuki member. Melina turned her gaze at Yasou quickly before looking back at Pein, "I want you to show him how we work here in the Akatsuki," Pein said firmly, looking down at Melina with his strange eyes. Melina looked up at him for a moment before giving a brisk nod.

"Yes sir." She repeated, suddenly turning to face Yasou. He blinked slowly while looking at her. She was only about 5'5", so he was taller then her, but she still had her head held high as she looked up at him.

"Follow me," she said suddenly, turning on her heel, getting ready to jump off the large hand. Suddenly, one of the Akatsuki members spoke,

"Don't burn him too badly, Melina."

Melina blinked and looked up at the person who spoke. She smirked when she recognized Deidara as he gave a slight chuckle. A couple of the other Akatsuki members chuckled darkly at this comment as well. Melina looked at Deidara before clenching her fist at him. Yasou thought she was about to make a fighting gesture towards him when suddenly her fist was engulfed in burning flame.

The flame sizzled and popped, but it didn't even seem to be affecting her. Yasou's eyes widened slightly as the flame reflected in his Sharingan eyes.

"There's no guarantee for that..." hissed Melina, the flame dancing in her blue eyes, her smirk glistening in the dark.

lol, sorry the oneshot sucked XD I made it in like...10 min. Yeah, Melina is not as friendly and nice as she looks >_O she can be deadly...especially with the Fire Necklace on. When she does, hell, just run away before she goes all Faceless Demon on ya! Anyway, hope you like the pic!
