the williams family

this picture...has taken me a WHOLE YEAR to finish. it was in april of LAST year that a woman who was a teacher at my now former high school (graduated) gave me 60 dollars to draw her, her husband, and her children....as toddlers. this has been my biggest undertaking. i rarely draw real life, much less having ever drawn black people before, and the pictures were either really old, or small, so i had to improvise detail. also so many things have gone on in my life, including engagement to my girlfriend, transitioning to college, and work, i have had very little time to do any outside art at all. i hope i have succeeded in making this look as good as i can for how little time i had to work on it :)

p.s. the girl at the bottom has one larger eye than the other. i am aware of that. that is how she was born and was the woman who paid me.
