I couldn't draw braids, especially not a bunch of them, so I drew twists of some sort. lol I spent a lot of time on this one, but apparently my attention span didn't wanna last long enough to try to shade it. Maybe one day I will. I dunno.
This is based from a screenshot from Avatar. In the screencap, she looked mean, but when I drew it she turned out soft. I like this expression better anyway. :)

It's okay that she doesn't look mean XDD!
I think you did pretty well on the braids. There are so many of them, it's hard to notice that they're in a different style.
Also, quite nice job on the ear.
